2013 Ring of Honor Inductees

Dale Burnett – Class of 1926

• Played 11 seasons with the New York Giants.

• Helped win professional football’s world championship in 1934 and 1938.

• Considered the Giants’ greatest blocking back/pass receiver/punter.

• Key player in the famous “Sneakers Game” of 1934.

• Intercepted a Green Bay Packer pass on the final play of the game during the 1938 championship game for the Giants’ 23-17 victory.

• Inducted into the Helms National Collegiate Football Hall of Fame, in 1959.

Fred Hall – Class of 1934

• Republican lawyer and politician.


• Lieutenant Governor of Kansas.

• 33rd Governor of Kansas.

• Born in Dodge City and graduated from Dodge City High School & University of Southern California.

• Ford County attorney (1947 to 1949).

• Served on the Supreme Court bench.

• Practiced law in Dodge City & Topeka.
